Overview
Spicers Peak Lodge offers luxurious and secluded mountain lodge suites, surrounded by World Heritage listed National Park. It includes an infinity pool and outdoor spa.
The warm colours of the interior décor of the suites of Spicers Peak Lodge echo the surrounding natural materials to bring Queensland’s picturesque landscape indoors. The luxurious suites feature modern facilities like marble bathrooms, LED TVs and iPod docking stations.
Guests can relax with a hot stone massage, or enjoy any of the other various health and beauty treatments Spicers Peak Lodge offers. You can also play tennis on the available tennis court, or go mountain biking and bush walking.
Spicers Peak Lodge offers an award winning dining facility, which serves a blend of many different cuisines. Here guests can enjoy a five course lunch or a seven course degustation dinner.
The lodge is located in the heart of the Scenic Rim region, and it is only a 2-hour drive to the south west of Brisbane.

From Brisbane
1) Exit Brisbane Airport following the signs to the city. After 2 roundabouts, be in the left hand lane and turn on to the Gateway motorway (1) which leads to the Gold Coast.
2) Follow signs to Ipswich/Toowoomba, pass the toll. You will veer right to Ipswich/Toowoomba onto another toll road. Continue along and you will be on the Ipswich Motorway and pay another toll.
3) Soon after the toll you will merge with the Ipswich Highway and go past Goodna and Redbank. Stay in the left lane to turn onto the Cunningham Highway (15) at the ‘To Warwick’ sign.
4) Your destination is Cunninghams Gap which is the pass through the mountains. Drive through Aratula township and head up the mountain. ATTENTION: DO NOT take Spicers Gap sign to left.
5) When you reach the top, continue for about 6km, pass a service station on your left hand side. Take the next turn left into South Branch Rd.
6) Proceed up the hill and through the cattle grid. Continue along this road and turn left onto Gross Rd and then the next right onto Wilkinsons Rd which is gravelled, windy and steep in places. Proceed straight along and up the hill to the top (about 12km). Drive with caution when the road is wet!
From Gold Coast
1) Head on the motorway towards Brisbane.
2) Take the exit for Ipswich/Toowoomba (half way between the Gold Coast and Brisbane). Continue along and you will be on the Ipswich Motorway and pay another toll. Then follow from Step 3) under the Brisbane instructions.
